A classic French 75 Cocktail infused with a homemade blackberry syrup. Champagne, Gin and a splash of lemon juice and simply syrup, this is a sugar easy cocktail for you to enjoy at home, or to make for a party!
- 1 1/2 ounces dry gin
- 1/2 ounce lemon juice
- 1/4 ounce simple syrup
- 1 heaping teaspoon blackberry sauce (recipe below)
- 4 ounces champagne
- lemon twist for garmish
- blackberries for garnish
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and combine gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Shake vigorously until outside of shaker is very cold.
- Pour into a champagne glass and stir in the blackberry juice then top with champagne.
- Garnish with a twist of lemon and a couple whole blackberries
To make a quick blackberry syrup, use a food possessor to blend 3 ounces of blackberries with 1 teaspoon honey and a splash of lemon juice
