Unsalted Butter Milk Flavoring Food Coloring
1
Beat the butter, sugar, eggs, extract, baking soda, milk, salt, and flour. Divide dough into 3 balls. Dye one red, one green, and leave one undyed.
2
Starting with the red, roll each color into a rectangular shape, then place it between two pieces of parchment paper.
3
Proceed to roll out the undyed color, and place it directly on top of the red. Next, do the green.
4
Roll tightly into a log. Then use your hands to roll again to expand the log. Wrap tightly with plastic wrap, place seam side down, and chill.
5
Remove dough from fridge, cut into 3/8-inch wide slices, and place them 1-inch apart on the baking sheet.
6
Bake at 350° for 9-11 minutes until the bottoms turn slightly brown. Then let cool completely.
7
Serve and enjoy!
